About Us
Our team consists of two freshman, 20% of our team, one sophomore, representing another 10%, three juniors, representing 30%, as well as four seniors, representing the remaining 40% of our team.
40% of our team are rookies, which means that our six veteran FTC teammates are constantly working to uplift them and help them learn further.
Our team members also engage with our school community by participating in clubs and organizations other than ViperBots and robotics. These include National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Rho Kappa, National Science Honor Society, DECA, the Viper Band and Vision Dance Company, UIL Academics, Young Mens Service League, and many more. Using this as a medium, we have each attained different skills like networking, teamwork, and sportsmanship, each of which will allow us to grow as a team and help our organization excel.
Team History
18030 Leviathan was founded in 2019, right into the COVID-19 pandemic. We are the newest ViperBots team out of the 10 very competitive FTC teams and world-renowned FRC program at our school. Our team began largely as rookies, with a culmination of transfers from other ViperBots teams constituting our first leadership team. Overtime, we have established our own distinct culture; work hard, play hard, pushing to be pioneers in not only ViperBots, but in FTC as a whole!
